It´s been almost 7 months since I left the states. My flight back was scheduled for the 11th, however it seems like I´ll be out here for at least another four months. Since arriving in South America, I´ve visited Chile, Bolivia, Peru, and Argentina. Argentina has been the most unique and enjoyable country that I’ve visited thus far.
Buenos Aires is the capital of Argentina and home to over 22 million people. Home to soccer teams Boca Junior and River Plate, Che Guevara, Yerba Mate, the Tango, Parillas or meat barbeques, and the song ¨Don´t Cry For Me Argentina¨by Madonna. Buenos Aires is a enormous, and can easily be put in the same category as New York or London. Most Argentines don´t eat dinner until 10PM. They start drinking around 12 or 1, and head to clubs around 3:30. It´s not uncommon to leave a club at 8AM and find yourself blinded from the morning sun. Many Argentines have work the next day and drink a redbull equivalent called speed to stay awake.
While every city in Argentina has its own distinct qualities, the three cities that stand out are: BA, Rosario, and Cordoba. So far I´ve visited BA and Rosario - I arrived to Cordoba yesterday. I´m here until Sunday and then flying back to Santiago, Chile(I´m trying to change my flight).
I´m gonna break the girls down like this. Argentines are flat-out beautiful. There was a HUGE influx of European immigrants coming from Spain, Eastern Europe, and Italy. The european look is undoubtably noticeable throughout the country. When I first arrived to BA(Buenos Aires) I walked around the city drooling from the mouth. There were models on every street corner. The girls in BA at first seem very cold and aloof, however most of them are very friendly when approached. Girls here do not make eye contact whatsoever, so it´s difficult to initiate anything just by eye contact. Smoking is fashionable here, everyone does it. Everyone text messages here, so forgot calling chicas to set up dates. Girls have issues with their hair, and on any given day you´ll catch at least 50% of the girls playing with their hair(can get very annoying). Girls in Argentina know how to dress. The European fashion scene is very big here, and most girls are wearing high heels or booties. Most girls are curvy around the waist, have long hair, slender legs, and have very cute faces. And did I mention every girl here is THIN?? I´m not talking like anorexic thin - I´m talking sexy thin, with curves, large breasts, and a curvy behind.
So what´s my strategy you ask? While it´s easier for most guys to hit on girls with friends. I go at it alone. I pull some spanglish out of my ass and get the girls to laugh at one of my stupid jokes. In the end, I always end up with either an email or phone number. It´s one or the other, and if I get rejected, I just go up to the girl behind her. It´s a number game out here, just like anywhere else. The difference is that 9 times out of 10 you´re talking to a gorgeous girl. Enough small talk… enjoy the photos.
I met this girl an after(clubs that start at 6 am and last till 10 am) This girl was probably the cutest girl I´ve hooked up with so far in South America.

Just some cutie I wanted to take a photo with. She wanted to have dinner, but only having a week in BA, I told her no gracias.

The girl on the right is Vanina. She was giving me looks the entire night, so I finally approached her at the bar and started up a conversation. At first glance, she seemed like a really nice girl. But after seeing her at every club in Rosario, I didn´t bother.

These chicas worked at hostel ¨Che Pampas¨in Rosario. They were very informative and friendly. The girl on my left is Brazilian, and had an amazing body. If I were a bit older, she would´ve been mine… she´s 32 btw.

Dinner with my girls from Rosario. Malbec = 2 us, full parilla dinner(assorted meats) = 10 us, chilling with beautiful argentines = priceless.

I was hooking up with the girl on my left for awhile. I met them in Salta, Argentina three months earlier.

Drinking Mate

It´s not weed, it´s Mate. Yerba Mate is similar to coffee except it´s not addictive and it doesn´t contain caffeine. It looks like dried weed, but you just put a handful in a Mate(cup) and drink it with a bombilla(straw).
Mate is so big in Argentina, they have vending machines that dispense hot water.

I don´t know why but I really like this photo of Gabi…

I went to a pool hall with the ladies after dinner… she was a natural.

Zero make-up, 100% all natural Argentine beauty.

A friend of a friend… very cute.

I snapped this photo while walking the streets today. I challenge myself by going up to at least 10 girls and start up random conversations. I ended the day with 7 convos. Cordoba has seven different universities in the downtown area. This city is loaded with college students, and many are really outgoing and friendly. I´m gonna enjoy my last week in Argentina…

South America isn´t easy to pick up girls. Lucky for me I speak conversational spanish so I can get by. While most tourists can barely ask for a menu, I´m getting numbers and setting up dates. I miss Orange County, I really do. But for every girl that is an 8 or 9 you have to deal with the 10 guys chasing her. Here, there are girls that are 9´s on every corner. It´s endless, it´s a numbers game, it´s international hustling 101.
